4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies itself. For technical reasons your browser may use a cache to display pages faster; no personal analyses are carried out in it.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose the server log files must be collected.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was requested. The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Enquiry by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary for establishing, shaping the content of or amending the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transfer upon conclusion of a contract for services and digital content

We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of contract processing, for example to the credit institution commissioned with payment processing.

No further transmission of the data takes place, or only if you have expressly agreed to the transmission. Your data is not passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Reservation for the app “Schadennavigator”

If you register your interest on the “Schadennavigator” page, only your email address is transmitted to me by email. The transmission takes place via the server of my web hosting provider; the address is not stored in a database on the website and is not passed on to third parties. The contact form works in the same way: your details reach me directly by email, without an external form service. I use the address only to inform you once as soon as the app is available. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke it at any time; an informal email to kontakt@seiler-gutachten.de is sufficient; I will then delete your address.
